1) As the orange sun ray shone brightly into the window, Joshua opens his heavy eyelids. At the first glance of light, Joshua could not believe his eyes. Amidst the rays of light, it was the car of his dreams. All painted in a silver lining, he cannot believe his eyes.
2)The shiny silver car whizzes past the quiet lane, basking in the morning light. As the traffic light turns red, Helen steps the brakes of her Maserati. She takes off her over-sized shades, watching the beautiful scenery of the Miami beach, thinking of the time she had with her friends.
3) “Surf’s up!” yelled Daniel as he watched the huge waves coming towards his direction. With his hands grabbed onto his board, he looks towards his friend, Dennis and with a smirk on his face; he was having the time of his life surfing it out on the most beauitful waves.
4) From Driftwood Acres to the shores of Miami Beach, in this little lane we call Route 195. Where the sun shines mercilessly and the people wake up at the strike of dawn. There was a silver Maserati in the middle of the lane, blocking the magnificent view of the sunrise.
5) Just then, a sudden huge gush of waves starts overpowering and very soon, the route that was once a beautiful scene is just another waste barren land. In between all the dirt and commotion, there are three survivors, Daniel, Helen and Joshua, underneath the rubble, hanging on for dear life.
Good job with achieving the stories within 50 words each. However, they lack excitement. Half of them seem to be a mere continuation/repetition of an early story.
It would be more effective if your character engages us with the situation that he is in.
